We wanted to bring to your attention the sometimes hazardous activity of temporary 'BLACK Henna' Tattoo.

There are different products available sold as 'Black Henna'. Some are harmless. Some create the scars that this poor lady is left with. While on holiday in Spain this Summer this lady had a temporary tattoo labelled as 'Black Henna'. Unfortunately this Tattoo was done with PPD (Para-phenylendiamine) based black hair dye. PPD is extremely harmful to the skin.

Natural Henna is brown/green in colour. There are natural ways to darken Henna - the addition of certain essential oils for example. THE ADDITION OF HAIR DYE IS ILLEGAL.
